Speech & Hearing Clinic
Established in 1960, the campus Speech and Hearing Clinic offers help to individuals of all ages who are experiencing speech, language or hearing difficulty. The Clinic is an integral part of the training program of the Department of Communicative Disorders & Sciences at SUNY Geneseo.
Undergraduate and graduate student clinicians provide speech, language and hearing services to our clients. Each student clinician provides services under the direct supervision of a clinical supervisor who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) in speech-language pathology or audiology.
Speech-Language Services
The Speech-Language Clinic provides comprehensive evaluation and therapy services to individuals of all ages. We serve individuals with a wide range of speech-language issues, including:

Hearing Services
The Hearing Clinic provides in-depth hearing evaluations and aural rehabilitation services to children and adults.

Equipped with the latest technology, the Clinic provides comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations, including:
Pure Tone and Speech Audiometry
Acoustic Immittance Testing
Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE)
Auditory Evoked Potentials
(Central) Auditory Processing Evaluations
Hearing Aid Verification and Speech Mapping
Aural Rehabilitation:
The Hearing Clinic also provides individualized aural rehabilitation services to hearing aid and cochlear implant users who want to develop their listening, speechreading, and general communication skills.

Clinic Location
The Clinic is located on the second floor of Sturges Hall, Room 212, on the SUNY Geneseo campus. Parking for the Clinic is free. Click here to view a campus map.
Clinic Calendar
The Speech and Hearing Clinic is open during the academic sessions of SUNY Geneseo, including fall, spring, and summer. The Clinic is open Mondays through Thursdays, with services available most evenings.
